Who want to be a valuable member of a team of animal care professionals. We are selective on who we allow in to our pack. The pets we care for are members of our client’s families and we consider it an honor to be allowed to take part in their care.
WHAT DO WE DO? A dog walker/ pet sitter typical day.
Start your day by checking our app for your schedule. This is your main tool for managing your tasks, with no need to visit an office or make phone calls. You’ll find adorable animals waiting for your friendly visit.
Drive to your first visit. ( We don’t have keys. Pet owners provide access. Lockboxes on the property, hidden keys, electronic codes, etc.)
Use our app to start and stop service.
Walk the Pup! If this is a dog walk, walk the pup through beautiful neighborhoods, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the creative landscaping along the way.
Take a cute photo of the animal, and fill out our report card of what happened.
Click submit and let the client know you visited. They see pictures of their pups, and then you drive to the next client’s home.
We usually only walk one dog at a time. If that owner has two pups, you are compensated extra for that.
Once you’ve completed a service, it’s time to move on to the next one. We’ve factored in extra time for travel, although most animals are within a 15-minute distance, and sometimes even next door.

Pet Sitting: We visit pets in their homes up to four times a day to walk, feed and care for their pet/s while they are away from home.
Dog Walking: We visit pets in their homes once or twice a day, between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, to walk dogs while their owners are at work.

Be physically fit and able to walk and drive in all types of weather. This career is very active and requires some stamina, even on rainy, snowy, or hot and humid days.
Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
Be totally reliable. (Go Dog Go Pet Care sitters do our best to cover for each other in cases of emergencies, but when a sitter chooses to “not work” it causes stress on the team. The pets in our care rely on us to be there for them.)
Be able to communicate effectively with teammates and clients and return emails, phone calls and text messages promptly.
Be able to provide professional reference.
Provide a current, clean background check. We will provide you with a link to have your background check completed.
Complete an on-line Pet First Aid/CPR certification. (No cost to you)
Complete an on-line Pet Sitter Certification. (No cost to you)
